19TH CENTURY ENGLISH OAK ANTIQUE VICTORIAN DOCUMENT BOX / WRITING DESK. Thank you for shopping with Bay Colony Antiques. This box is decorated with a very pleasing double tombstone drop front panel with lambs tongue molding along the edges.

The interior is fitted with removable wooden dividers and a hand tooled gold embossed Moroccan leather writing surface. The slide out writing tray has felt lined reservoirs for inkwells and a pencil / pen tray. The brass lion head hardware was a nice step up from the nickel pulls this evidently had. This document box is 16" wide x 10" deep x 14 tall.
