6 Beautiful Antique Larkin Golden Oak Tiger Eye Pressed Back Chairs Refinished

  

We are pleased to be offering today this set of 6 Larkin pressback dining chairs that have been refinished by the previous owner (my mother). This set of six Larkin chairs consists of a rare pattern golden oak / tiger eye cut.

It gives you the high back posts, handle pressback, seat trims underneath each chair seat, multi-turn front leg spindles and triple leg cross stretchers in the front. This set always came with either lace cane, which is a hand hole cane that is very expensive, or a pressed cane seat that is a sheet of cane that is pressed in and held by a spline. This set of 6 chairs have the expensive hand lace cane seats that cost 120.00 per seat 20+ years ago. They are all in great condition. The chairs were refinished in the last 20-35 years in a light-medium oak stain finish that has aged to a beautiful patina.

The chairs are all tight and ready to go into their new dining room. This set of 6 measures 17 inches wide, 16 inches deep, 44 inches high to the chair post and 18 inches high to the seat. The overall condition is good to great condition.

There are some small finishing nail holes on two of the seats from cushion seats before they were refinished.
