Antique 1800s Victorian Tiger Oak Bed Highly Carved with Clawfeet! This is a one of a kind highly rare bed! Amazing burly claw feet on the footboard. Both headboard and footboard are on wheels but the headboard is missing one wheel.

This is all solid quartersawn tiger oak! Very thick and very heavy. The sideboards are amazing with very very high sides on the ends as shown.

There are a COUPLE of chips in the carvings mainly on the footboard and please enlarge all photos to see all blemishes. This bed needs a little bit of TLC and some re-gluing as shown where the heavy solid pieces are separating but you can use as is no problem! The finish is beautiful but shows very little wear especially on the claw feet. This is one of the most beautiful beds I have ever seen in my 35 years as an antique dealer! It was in one family handed down.

The carvings are so thick and stand out so vibrantly! These measurements include the wheels. The headboard is 60 inches tall by 64 inches wide. The footboard is 37 1/2 inches tall by 64 inches wide. Both pieces are close to 4 inches thick in the thickest part!

The tallest height of the side rails is 23 inches tall just the wood! The bed of course ships in pieces but the whole bed weighs approximately 150 pounds!
