Antique Tiger Oak Solid Top Oval Coffee Table 1890's - 1900's Los Angeles Area. We are proud to offer an extremely nice estate furniture. It is simple, elegant, and classic all rolled into one. It is a perfect estate piece to gift or wonderful to start or add to your collection.

Wonderful American oak oval coffee table. The wood on this piece is beautiful tiger oak sometimes referred to quarter sawn. A little unusual in that the table top is solid tiger oak and not a veneer. It also has a beveled edge. There is a drawer on one side.

This is an original piece not a later reproduction. It dates from the period from the 1890's to the 1900's.

Started it's life as a library or console table. Later cut down for a coffee table. It was professionally refinished about 5 to 10 years ago. There are some minor spots that the refinishing did not remove always a debate of how far to go with restoration. Tried to photograph the condition, but was very difficult.
