Antique English Carved Tiger Oak Pipe Smoke Cabinet Game Box Humidor Brass 1888. Many have dated, engraved presentation plaques, and ALL of them are fabulous! Typically these boxes were used for storing pipes, tobacco, and game cards for men.

Today, our customers use them as conversation pieces, decorative items, and YES, as jewelry boxes! This cabinet is beautiful, with double carved panel front doors, a beveled edge LIFT TOP, original brass hardware including ornate side handles!

Cabinet is stamped with Rd. 106188, British Registry mark for 1888 Original brass key escutcheon and brass drawer handle Large interior is fitted with two 3-hole pipe racks, double drawers with original brass handles, large lower cubbyhole, shaped jar storage area and two inset places for the tobacco bowls. Included with this is a jar and two bowls, although I do not know if they are original, they have no markings. 10.75height x 14.75 x 8.25.
