Antique Fireplace DOUBLE Mantle Tiger Oak 4 Column Egg & Pearl Detail Victorian
Victorian Antique Fireplace Double Mantle Tiger Oak Four (4) Column Egg & Pearl Detail. This is a massive oak mantle and fireplace surround that came out of the president of a universitys home in southern Ohio. It is as stately as they come. You will note that the original mirrow is missing. I toyed with the idea of using it for my flat screen TV, but that never happened. There is no mirror to be included. It does feature four (4) columns and two mantles. The lower columns are joined with a peg and hole system, The top portion with the mantle also joins with the peg and hole method. They will need some hardware (screws) to affix it to the mantle once it is in place. There is some water marks on the back left side approximately 1 foot from the floor. The marks on the back where the mirror was measures 42 wide x 23-1/2. The actual opening measures 39 1/4 x 21 1/2 tall. Fully assembled, this piece measures approximately 88 1/8 inch high including the pediment. At the widest point, which would be the double mantles it measures approximately 57-3/4. The Corinthian columns are stunning. The fire place opening is approximately 42 42 1/8 inch wide x 39 tall.
