Quartersawn tiger oak 6 piece stacking barrister bookcase with drawer in the base by Globe Wernicke in the most desired wood grade "299". The quartersawn wood grain is vibrant and really grabs your attention.

These bookcases should stand alone against the wall so that the sides can be seen as well as the front. To me this is the most attractive style of barrister bookcase called by several names. There is the waterfall, also called bullnose or ogee with the graceful curve to the top cap as well as the base resting entirely on the floor. This wonderful bookcase is 59 3/8 tall and has the metal bands on the side which were used in law offices to attach bookcases side-by-side so that the bookcase loaded with books would not fall on the user.

This bookcase is comprised of 6 stacking sections. We start at the bottom with the base with a pull out drawer followed by four glass doored book sections all of which are 10" tall and 9 1/2" deep inside and then finally the top cap.
