Antique Quarter Swan Tiger Oak Mirror Back sideboard buffet circa 1900. This buffet sat in my grandmothers dining room for as long as I can remember. It was much-loved and well cared for. Century quarter sawn tiger oak sideboard is a classic example of American craftsmanship.

It has beautiful carvings from top to bottom including griffons and serpentine scrolls on top, carved lion feet, a large beveled mirror with candle stands, and a full length display shelf on top (11 deep). The wood grain on this piece is gorgeous.

Photos are in the sunlight so you can see the beautiful tiger oak grain. It features two bow front drawers with lining for fragile contents and a full length drawer beneath. Open cabinet space behind the cupboard drawers below.

Solid tongue and groove construction is visible on the drawers. Wood has original finish and appropriate wear for its age.

Beveled mirror is original with only two small aging spots on the top and bottom edge of mirror. Sideboard features original brass hardware and castors and breaks down into three pieces for easy transport. This sideboard/buffet could grace your home in an entryway, in your dining room for serving, as bar in your family/living room, or as a dresser in the bedroom. Great piece to have for the holidays!
