This late Victorian piece from around 1900 has been designed and finished on all four sides. This piece separates into two sections which are held together by wooden pegs. Under the locking "C" curve roll top is the desk top itself, with alcoves and niches for gift cards, CDs, pens, etc.
And there is definitely room for a wireless notebook. Below the desk top is a pullout board on the left, handy for writing a quick note when the desktop is in use. There are two drawers, and two swinging, locking doors. Behind the left door are three smaller drawers, and the right door conceals file partitions. The four sturdy legs have withstood the test of time, and still support the desk as intended.
