Antique Tiger Oak Fireplace Mantle

  

ANTIQUE TIGER OAK MANTLE/FIREPLACE SURROUND. I believe this is from the late 1800's or early 1900s ; it has beautiful grains.

I think it is referred to as "birdseye" or tiger oak. It can be cut on the bottom if you want a shorter mantle. I put matching sides on it to accommodate my fireplace, but those can be widened or narrowed for the needed depth. Mantle was refinished about 30 yrs ago.
