Antique Tiger Oak Library Writing Table UT Austin Texas! Claw foot partner desk
Beautiful Rare Late 1800's Antique Tiger Oak Library Writing Table. From the University of Texas at Austin Library! Two drawers, one on each side (partner desk style). Dimensions : Approximately 48" (4') Long x 27" Deep x 30 High. Condition : This piece has been used at UT for over 100 years! Being a used piece it is not perfect and does show some history. It has a large dark spot on the top. It has numerous scratches, chips, cracks, dings, discoloration etc. I'm sure each flaw has it's own story to tell but they are visible and they will still be visible when you get it home. One of the castors does not have a wheel, it could very easily be replaced but I wanted to keep it original. Please be sure to check out all the photos to judge the condition for yourself. It's truly a beautiful piece but it is far from perfect. I was told by the asset manager it has been in use in their libraries for well over a century. Message me for pricing and availability.
