Antique Tiger Oak Sideboard / Rustic Farmhouse Oak Sideboard / Beveled Glass

  

Being offered for your consideration is an antique sideboard. A family piece that I inherited when we bought my grandparents' farm.

I remember this piece from my early childhood, and have had it myself now for 42 years; I just do not have room for it anymore. I do not know the actual age of this piece, but assume it to be more than 100 years old. I refinished it, removing the dark varnish 20 years ago.

The original felt in the top drawers was removed years ago, as it was rather "ratty"-looking. It has been well-cared for, and other than a patched veneer spot on the left door (see picture #3) it is in excellent condition.

The doors close with a ball closure. The beveled-glass mirror is in very good condition as well. The long middle drawer is curved. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but I have felt pads that I use in moving it around.
