The wood on this piece is beautiful tiger oak sometimes referred to quarter sawn. A little unusual in that the table top is solid tiger oak and not a veneer. This is an original piece not a later reproduction. It dates from the period from the mission / arts and crafts time period. It was professionally refinished about 5 to 10 years ago.
