C1900 Huge Stickley Roycroft Wide Tiger Oak Mission Arts Crafts 20 x 30 Frame

  

This is an amazing frame...... A beautiful, c1900 large solid tiger oak with unbelievable construction and molding. Outstanding 6 wide quarter sawn cushion molding with fantastic figuring. I believe this is a benchmade piece and has the most unusual (and solid) construction.

It appears to be a two piece form with corner pins and the most unusual "blocked in" corner bolts spanning the miters. I can assure you this frame is rock solid and would survive an apocalypse.

Obviously a high quality frame, possibly by Stickley or Roycroft? But i don't see any markings... And i'm not familiar with the construction style. The frame is in excellent condition with only minor wear and measures 32 x 42 with a 20 1/2 x 30 1/2 rabbet. Please see my other listings for some great frames i have recently picked up.
