Super nice 36 long heavy quartersawn oak pew in its' original dark finish. This pew along with several others were found in a beautiful old stone church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The church was built in 1925 and these pews were placed there at that time. I have a photo of the church shown for you. The pews have wonderful tiger oak throughout with deep set decoration.
They have a nice gothic arch panel on each side. The arch measures 14.5" high X 9" wide. The tops of each end panel has a clover design recessed into the oak. The pew ends are thick. The bases are 3.5" wide and the remainder of the end panels are 2.25" thick. The seats and back have a slight curvature to them but sit flat against a wall. The original dark finish is in very good condition for its age. Keep in mind that these pews have almost 100 years of use and do have signs of gentle use throughout.
They have tons of character and would look great in your home. Pew end panels are 39.5 high. Pews are 21.5 deep. The arm height is 24 from the floor. Seat height is 17.5 from the floor.Seat depth is 15.5. You'll look a long time to find a nicer gothic style pew in original finish.
I have take photos all around so you can see what you are getting. I can also make a pew to your custom length up to 96 long for the same price as the one offered.
