Mission Arts and Crafts Early 1900s Tiger Oak Writing Desk with Bookcase 9859. This magnificent Writing Desk is made of wood, solid wood, solid oak, and tiger oak veneer, and is in good condition. This Desk was made in the Early 1900's in the highly impressive Mission / Arts and Crafts style of furniture; it features a classic Mission silhouette, very interesting details such as bookshelf space on each side of the piece, and a lovely medium oak finish to the wood that is beautifully accented by the grain of the tiger oak veneer.

This desk is finished all around, so it could be displayed proudly in the center of any room. This desk provides excellent opportunities for storage with drawers that are dovetailed, made of solid wood inside, and working properly. The top of the desk was professionally refinished and there were some minor touch ups and repairs made to the piece here and there, see pictures, however none of this detracts from the great beauty or utility of the piece.

The condition of this Desk is secure and sturdy, there are some aging imperfections/scratches/touch ups due to its age and as part of its wear and tear, see pictures.
