It has an intact label indicating that it was made by the Marstall Furniture Company Incorporated in Henderson, KY. Their company motto regarding their fine wardrobes was "Not the Cheapest, but the Best" and we believe them!

This beautiful Armoire weighs approximately 160 pounds in total and measures 88 ¼ in total height from the floor to the center of the crown, 51 in width, and 19 ½ in depth. The total inside compartment measures 70 ¾ in height and 46 in width and has a top shelf supports and some side shelf supports on one side, all of which you could configure to accommodate your needs. This fabulous wardrobe does break down into 9 pieces for transport (2 doors, 2 sides, 1 hooded top, 1 base, 2 back panels, and 1 middle piece that fits between doors). The inside of this roomy Armoire would be perfect for your entertainment equipment or for using as a linen closet or as a wardrobe to store your clothing, or for all of the above.

In any case, the details on this Superb Armoire/Wardrobe are simply gorgeous! This fabulous Armoire is constructed of gorgeous Golden Tiger Oak and has a beautiful finish. The fancy domed crown is graced with a lovely foliate scroll carved center applique that is adorned on each side with elegant winged appliques. Gorgeous reed-carved shoulders complete this fancy domed crown. You will be sure to notice that this gorgeous reed-carved detail is repeated all the way down the front sides as well as in the center between the two handsome tiger oak doors. The two handsome tiger oak doors are adorned with recessed tiger oak panels, elegant filigree brass key escutcheons, and have intact working locks with a working key. Paneled sides complete the body which rests upon the substantial large base. This large base holds two elegant dovetailed drawers that are adorned with very ornate north-wind period brass pulls. The apron beneath these drawers is beyond lovely and is grace with beautiful foliate appliques flanking a large dimensional center half-roll.
