This is the real deal! All oak construction, much quarter sawn. Antique, 100+ years old item. It has a beveled base all around. 7 turned vertical columns with doorknob finials on top.

Nothing broken, missing, or repaired. Outside measurements are 54 3/4 inches by 15 3/8 inches.

Inside measurements are 48 inches by 12 inches. The advantage of being wood is that it can be mounted to another board, or even the floor. You can see the singe marks on the backside of the rails where fire was too close.
