Victorian American Oak Quarter Sawn Fireplace Mantle Double Column Restored LA. We are proud to offer an extremely nice estate furniture. It is simple, elegant, and classic all rolled into one. Wonderful American double column tall fireplace mantel. The wood is outstanding tiger oak.

Each beefy column is toped by capital design. The boxed shelves are not strictly square they have curved wood on the sides and front. This is an original piece not a later reproduction which has been refinished. It dates from the 1890s to early 1900s. Large fireplace opening makes it more adaptable to modern construction.

It was professionally refinished about 5 to 10 years ago. The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age. We refinish our items so they do show that it is an antique and not perfect.
