It is an extremely well made item. This is an original piece not a later reproduction. It dates from the early 1900s. This chair has a wonderful presence.

It shows both mortise and tendon as well as dowel construction techniques. It has been previously restored by regluing and refinishing.

The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age. There are reflections in the photographs. Height at back - 36 inch. Width at arms 28 1/4 inch. Depth - 27.25, Seat Height - about 18.5.
