Wonderful carving decorates this piece with classical shell accents both at the top crest and the base of it. Has the quintessential cabriole French leg. The quality of this piece is outstanding as demonstrated in many ways: Nice quarter sawn oak 1/4.

The glass on top is individual panes which takes more time in production. The back shows the quality with beveled panels and components that were made allowing typical wood shrinkage.

The top separates from the base for moving purposes. It is an extremely beautiful and very well made item. This is an original piece not a later reproduction.

It has been previously restored including regluing and refinishing. If there was any damage, it was professionally repaired.
