Material is gorgeous quarter sawn oak or Tiger oak. Well preserved, clean strong and healthy.

Not refinished, with original brass hardware. PLEASE NOTE - due to the sun light color of the top of the chair looks much lighter than the rest of the wood. It looks this way only because sides of the chair are in shade, not under direct light as the top is.

Color of the wood is the same and even all over the chair. All furniture was carefully picked in 1980s on auctions and through Antique dealers of entire Midwest and delivered to our house in LA area. All furniture went through extremely careful process of refinishing performed personally by my husband. Such refreshing revealed the exceptional beauty of a gorgeous quarter sawn oak texture. Refinishing is of superb quality! All our furniture was carefully and lovingly preserved and cherished for almost 40 years, now it is time to downsize our treasures.
