THIS stand has the most interesting provenance/history, with its engraved presentation plaque as follows. To The Rev Father J. His kindness to an old lady. What a charming sentiment, and even the silver-plate shield on the tobacco jar is engraved with an H for the Reverend Heweston! 5 pipe holder rack on the raised back; large top has affixed oak tobacco jar with original ceramic liner and silver-plate brackets on the corners. Note the tobacco jar lid is stamped with the makers initials and AEPNS. Full length drawer has original brass pull. 10.5height x 15 x 9. NOTE: All of our antiques are direct from Europe.
