Its rather rare to have the ceramic liner, as they usually get broken over the years. Also, you can tell it is a proper liner from the indention on the bottom that makes it fit into the wood. The shield, rim and handles are silverplate, the shield engraving reads as follows. We absolutely treasure these old trophy pieces with their antique original engraving that provides such a wonderful provenance!!

The ceramic bowl liner is 3.5height x 8.5 diameter. NOTE: All of our antiques are direct from Europe.
