Globe Wernicke quartersawn tiger oak barrister bookcase in grade 798 1/2 which is English oak with a darker finish. This bookcase is comprised of 6 stacking pieces. We start with the taller than usual 4 legged base followed by 4 glass doored book sections with the top cap or crown at the top. One book section is 10 1/2" tall inside and the other three are 8 1/2" tall inside. The inside depth measurements of all of the book sections is 9 1/2 from front to back with the doors closed.

The doors to the book sections lift and slide back into the bookcase to access the inside. These doors keep what is inside mostly dust free.

This bookcase also has the metal side straps that were used to interlock one bookcase to another to prevent a bookcase from falling forward when filled with heavy law books. All of the book sections have their original paper labels.
