Antique Jacobean Style Carved Oak Open Armchair

  

An antique Jacobean style open armchair, unbranded. Tiger oak with flame stripe fabric upholstered back and seat. Intricately carved details on back and apron with carved griffins at top. Barley twist on chair back, arm supports, stretchers and legs. Origin unknown, but likely USA or England from the late 19th Century.

Measures: Overall: 26w 24d 47h, Seat: 19.25w 17.5d 18h, Arms: 27h. Outstanding antique condition with signs of very light use. Extremely clean with no tears, stains, or odor to fabric. Very likely finish refreshed and fabric re-upholstered within last decade.
