What a unique and beautiful mirror! This leaded glass mirror has a hefty weight to it and exquisite detail. The back has a fabric backing secured with brass nails. The mercury on the back of the glass has begun to oxidize, creating a slight yellow tinge.
There are also dark blotches in the upper right corner due to aging. When an object touches the glass, there is a gap between it and its reflection. The veneer in the bottom right corner is chipped slightly and it is cracked in the bottom left corner, but overall the mirror is in amazing condition, especially considering its age (possibly >200 years old). 14" tall plus 2" for the ring on top.
