The cabinet was made in the early 20th century by the Larkin Furniture Company of Buffalo, New York. The cabinet retains its original wavy glass door and the original paper Larkin label affixed to the back. The lock has been removed and a sturdy brass knob and backplate were added to make this easier to open. The interior has 3 shelves with 8 different height adjustments.
There's a slight warp at the center of the door which resulted in an uneven gap when the cabinet was closed. The previous owners cleverly installed a metal L bracket that can be seen in our 6th photo to close the gap. The bookcase is in very good condition with our only further notes being minor surface wear, the worst of which being a small dark spot on the top and a small light mark on the right side. The bookcase measures 29 1/2" wide (27 1/2" at base) x 13" deep (12 1/2" at base) x 54 1/2 tall.
The shelves measure 25 1/2" wide x 9 1/2" deep. We are a wholly owned family business in our third decade of continuous operation.
