Antique Tiger Oak Mission Arts & Crafts Bench / Couch / Settee Circa 1910's. Beautiful quarter sawn oak (tiger) mission / Arts & Crafts bench.This is an unsigned item, but made in the Stickley or Limbert style. Has the corbel details at the arms. Spring loaded original seat bottom. It is an extremely well made item and comfortable.
Height at back - 39.5 inch. Height at arms - 24.5 inch. Width at arms - 68 inch, Depth - 25.25 inch and Seat height - 17.5 inch. This is an original piece not a later reproduction. It dates from about the 1910's.It has been previously restored by regluing and refinishing. There is wear and color variation around were the joints were reglued. Some subsequent wear at the arms. Variations within the color and sheen of the wood finish. The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age. There are reflections in the photographs.
