Tiger Oak Dining Set of Claw Feet Table with 4 Leaves and 6 Chairs 1031. This extraordinary dining set is made of wood, solid wood, solid oak, solid tiger oak, and caning, and is in good condition. This very impressive dining set was made in the Early 1900's in the timeless Traditional style; the table and chairs feature great antiquarian charm with classic silhouettes, very interesting details such as the stately claw feet on the dining table and the unique carvings on the chairs, and a lovely golden oak finish to the wood that is beautifully accented by the grain of the tiger oak. The table is round when closed and has the four original leaves that can extend the table up to an impressive 77 3/4 in width with all of the leaves added. The six chairs have caned seats, see pictures. We believe the table was refinished sometime over the years and there were some minor professional touch ups made here and there to the set, see pictures, however this does not detract from the great beauty or utility of the dining set and it is ready for every day use. The condition of this dining set is secure and sturdy, there are some aging imperfections/scratches/touch ups due to its age and as part of its wear and tear, see pictures.
