This outstanding piece was most likely built around the 1880's and is in exceptional condition for its age. It was most likely custom built for a person of wealth during that time.

It is truly quite remarkable to see something of this size surviving all these years and a RARE find. We have not been able to find anything similar through our research and you will probably never see another piece like it! If you have a large entryway / foyer that needs something marvelous or you are restoring an older Victorian style house then this is the piece for you! This grand hall seat / pier mirror measures 84" tall x 56" wide and has a unique style with medieval flair. It is made from beautiful tiger oak wood and large hand carved lion heads adorn each column near the top. We reserve the right to cancel this listing at any time. SIZE: It measures 56" wide at the widest bottom section and the middle section measures 53" wide x 84" tall x 12" deep (front to back). The mirror measures 36" wide x 56" tall. CONDITION: It comes to you in overall excellent antique condition. However the silver backing of the mirror has some spots of oxidation / imperfections as you can see in the pictures. Considering it being nearly 150 years old it is in very good condition and could be re-silvered but we will leave that up to you.
