Offered for sale is an unbelievable Gothic Revival 13 piece dining room set. By Johnson and SonsChicago, it is made of solid tiger oak and amazingly carved.

We believe it was made around 1910. The set consist of an oval table with 4 leaves, large buffet, server, blind door china cabinet and 9 chairs(1 arm chair and 8 side chairs).

Deep carvings are painted on the inside to resemble stain glass windows. The finish is original on all pieces.

There are no apologiesjust normal wear from use and a light scratch here or there, as to be expected. As I have said the set is made of solid oak, but the tops of the buffet and server have a tiger oak veneer.

The chairs are covered in velvet show fading and have some spots, you would probably want to recover to match you decor. If you love the Gothic look, I don't think don't think it gets much better, this is truly an amazing set. Please view and enlarge all photos to get a good look at this gorgeous set.
