Tiger Quartersawn Oak COUNTRY FRENCH PROVINCIAL 2 Door ARMOIRE WARDROBE Cabinet. We are proud to offer an extremely nice estate furniture.
It is simple, elegant, and classic all rolled into one. It is a perfect estate piece to gift or wonderful to start or add to your collection. Beautiful quartersawn oak (1/4 or tiger oak) armoire. The oak grain is particularly outstanding.
It features oversized hinges on the doors and wonderful paneled sides. This comes apart for moving purposes.
Approximately 8 pieces are bolted together to make it whole. The back (or top of the back) can be left off if you are looking to put a TV inside.It has brackets on the side so shelves could easily be installed. Or, you could put a bar inside it for hanging storage. It is an extremely versatile piece of furniture. It is an extremely beautiful and very well made item. This is an original piece not a later reproduction.
It dates from the first half of the 20th century. Measurements were made using the top component when the armoire was dismantled, so they are approximate. Width is 59 inch and depth is 24 3/4 inch.Approximate height is between 81 to 82 inch. It has been previously restored including regluing and refinishing. If there was any damage, it was professionally repaired.
The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age. There are reflections in the photographs. Dont miss out on this really wonderful item!
