Victorian heavily carved tiger oak two door bookcase 1880 gilt quartersawn

  

Definitely one of the best ones we have had in a long time! Eastlake influenced normally you would see these in walnut this one is quartersawn oak raised panels just amazing, the gilt was probably done in the last 50 years I would imagine, its well done works well the book case seems to be original surface, there is a return molding on the base missing on the right side I believe, you could easily have someone make that, there are three shelves for this that are not shown but included! There is a working key for this as well its a great size will fit into any home stands 69 tall 51 wide 17 deep! One of the very best!
