Victorian upside down birds eye maple and tiger oak writing slope. This slope breaks all the rules but it works and works well. If you see another one the same as this then i will eat my socks (warning last time it took me a week). Birds eye maple and tiger oak are two of my favorate woods but i would never expect them to be in the same piece they are just so different. And yet here they are side by side setting each other off perfectly!

The lock is upside down for the simple reason that the writing slope is upside down and opens with the big side on top. The writing surface is an antique red never goes with orange , but is does,, beautifully. Its got a few chips and scratches but if you are still readingthis then that is proably not too important.

OK the facts ,, measuring 39.5 x 25 x 16 cm two compartments under slope, fully original. Please feel free to ask questions.
