Vintage Victorian American Tall Tiger Oak Bed Double or Queen. We are proud to offer an extremely nice estate furniture.

It is simple, elegant, and classic all rolled into one. Wonderful oak American Bed with nice carving on the top of the headboard and the footboard. Beautiful tiger oak (quarter sawn oak). Headboard and Footboard without rails. Relatively easy to attach a metal Hollywood bed frame or you can be more creative.

The headboard height is 76 1/2 inch and width is 56 1/4 inch. Footboard height is 34 1/2 inch and the width at the upper roll is 57 3/4 inch. It can be used as a full or as a queen. The bed was manufactured to be approximately full or double. A full is about 54 inch wide.

A queen width is 60 inch which be less that 2 inch overlap on either side at the headboard. This is an original Victorian bed from the 1900's and not a later reproduction. It was most likely refinished many years ago. Subsequent normal use and wear since then such as scratches.

Some variation in the color of the finish. Ome wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age.
